OKAY!!!

Phew! I had my surgeries and I am alive!

The last two weeks have been so difficult though. I'm just glad it is over......mostly.

I think I'm done passing my dumb kidney stones. (fingers crossed really tightly)

I got the bulky cast off and the stitches out of my arm on Tuesday and I can sort of type without much pain. Hooray!

I did, however, end up with a metal plate and 7 screws in my arm.

Boooooo! I was hoping that wouldn't have to happen, but it did.

I start physical therapy tomorrow. Ouch.

I wanted to post a few more from the very last session before my surgery.

{Green Grass}

This was a very "mini session" I did a while back and I never got to posting it

on my blog. These are my cute neighbors.

They are super sweet and caring people. These are the type of neighbors you want to have living near you.

This is such a sweet little family with their new baby boy, Luke.

It was my first time meeting them and I can just tell they are fabulous people.

While they were here, the hubby got a phone call letting him know

he got into Dental School in CA. So excited for them!!

Well, I'm winding down and my surgery is on Friday. I'm getting nervous. I'm sure all will go well but it is always worrisome to be put under and not know what the heck is going on.

This is my brother Andy and his wife Shawna, and their fabulous children!

I'm the oldest of six children and Andy is two years under me.

They came up for a quick visit and we decided to take some family pictures.

We went to lunch and just stopped off the road to find this neat spot with a bridge that we loved.

It was so fun to hang out with them over the weekend!

{Education Day}

I had the opportunity to have a day of one on one mentoring from Jessica of BellaRose Photography.

If I could afford it, I would be doing something like this every week........okay, maybe every month!

It was fun to meet Jessica and be able to have time to learn with just me and her rather than a group setting. It has been a couple of days since and I feel like I am stepping up my skills already. Just what I wanted!

We had a model come so we could have a studio and an outdoor session.

I have realized that I WANT a studio! (someday...)
