{Gettin' Up}

Well, I thought I'd share a piece of me. I have grown up to love music. I come from a couple of very musical parents. My Mom is a whiz at the piano, she is known for her talent down in the OC by many. My Dad, was a Jazz nut. He played the saxophone mainly, but dabbled in clarinet and others. I remember the station always being set to Jazz music when I would get in his car to go drive it for the night with my friends. I love music. Do I play an instrument? I used to play piano, I played the violin for 6 years. Now, I play my stereo. Hahahaha! I have a musical ear, just didn't continue with the instruments I learned as a youth. Oh well, yes, I regret quitting. Back to my stereo:

I love Hip Hop. Not all, but some. I love to dance. On my own, in a class, or at a club.(haven't been to one of those in a loooong time though)
I love this song. It gets me up and dancing around the house to help pass the time when I have to clean it. Awww jeah.

{Abby} Almost 4months :)

Abby. She is just adorable. Her mother and I thought most of the pictures were going to be like the first one below. Thanks to many goofy faces, swinging toys above my head, a lot of animal noises and clapping, we got some!! Haha! Thanks Lindsey:) She is not a difficult baby, she is pretty darn normal:)

{6 Years Ago}

Today is February 8th. I lost my sweet Dad 6 years ago today to a heart attack. He was only 54. I was 29. He was young. I think about my Dad every day. I miss him the most on tough days. Anyone who knew my Dad knew that he was quite the guy. Handsome, smart, hilarious and sarcastic. He was very kind too. There will be nobody else like him, ever. I look forward to the day when I will see him again after I die. I hope that day isn't for a long long time though.

I wouldn't ever want to miss watching my kids growing up and going on missions, getting married, having children, etc....
I hate that my Dad hasn't been around to see these cute kids grow and experience their funny personalities. I took their picture today to make a memory. I am going to get them printed and hang them up asap. I'm horrible about doing that. I take so many pictures but then they sit on my computer. There is no reason to take the picture unless I am going to enjoy it! That is the special thing about pictures. Go print and hang up any you might have been wanting to hang in your home:)
